MAKERS: WOMEN WHO MAKE AMERICA is a multi-platform initiative between AOL and PBS that tells the story of women's advancement in the United States over the past 50 years. The project began with a video archive of interview-driven profiles at makers.com, which launched in March 2012. The goal was to create the largest collection of women's stories ever assembled.
